Portable Propane Heaters

A great help around the house are portable propane heaters. It is always helpful to have workshop heaters for those work spaces that you love, but can be cold at night or during the winter months. I like having a propane construction heater around for when I need to heat up a room for getting paint to dry quickly. They are also great when shampoo the carpets and want to dry them out now.

Salamander heaters are forced air or convection heaters often fueled by kerosene, propane or electricity. Forced air heaters work like a jet engine by sucking cold air in and forcing hot air out which makes your workspace toasty in no time. They are often called torpedo heaters or workforce propane heater. A propane construction heater is super useful for shops or as a garage furnace. You have to remember however to have ample fresh air, as these are not vented propane heaters and burn oxygen. One other option for a closed space would be an electric garage heater.

These temporary heaters really are worth their weight when you need them, it really is hard to over state how handy they can be. When shopping for one there are a few things to consider such as what type of fuel to use. I prefer propane as it so easy to get and safe to use. I also like to take the portable heaters for camping, keeping the family warm makes the whole experience a lot better. Since I use propane for my other camping needs, it makes this the right choice for me.

Another fuel choice of many users is the kerosene torpedo heater. This fuel is available in many parts of the country and is used for many uses. Electric makes sense as I’ve already mentioned in confined spaces. There are many optionsĀ  and things to consider before you rush out and buy portable propane heaters.
